Cam works quite hard and makes good grades - he just hides it. If they're in class together, she may kind of be aware that he's not as dumb as he may seem, but may still not take him seriously?

Ummm he always wants to be the center of attention. Sometimes, he clowns around, and sometimes he just wants to share relevant anecdotes in class, it kind of depends on how he's feeling that day, but it would be probable that a lot of people are just like CAM SHUT UP.
